Θα την ξαναφτιάξω (I will reconstruct her) (by tsevis)
If you deconstruct Greece, you will in the end see an olive tree, a grapevine, and a boat remain. That is, with these elements you reconstruct her.
— Odysseas Elytis
I love this quote by Odysseas Elytis. I believe it’s valid now more than ever. So when Harry Tzanis and the friends of “Crisis is a Greek Word” project asked me to participate I thought it would be appropriate as the main concept for my contribution. This little girl is now my 30something sister Anna. Her generation has been hit so hard and harshly by the current crisis. Most people - like Anna - have left Greece to find a new home abroad. I want to believe that they will soon find their ship to come back home in order to cultivate today’s olive trees and grapevines for tomorrow.

Kozi’s Lion (by tsevis)
Kozi’s is a grill house in Athens, Greece. I believe they have the best burgers in the world.
The restaurant belongs to Kozi Tzanos and his family who are Greeks from South Africa. They brought with them the culture of a traditional Sunday Lunch Braai, combined it with the Mediterranean spirit and landed up with a great place.
Dimitra Tzanos has designed and developed all the African inspired doodles, the color set and the visual identity of the shop that I have used for this work.

Beppe Grillo for Panorama (Italian weekly) (by tsevis)
Beppe Grillo is the hottest European politician today. His enemies are calling him names like clown, demagogue or even Mussolini while his followers are finding in him the person who inspires a real political movement of hope and change. As I am considering Italy something like a second homeland I am particularly interested in the subject and very happy when Panorama magazine asked me to create this cover.
I am not sure if I would follow or vote Grillo. But I am really happy that he is around and he’s opening the real debates for Europe’s and Italy’s future.
You can see the cover on Panorama’s website here. (Personally I don’t agree with the article)
